    Q2485 Double Z. More pictures C1910, found in FL. Good country colors, lots of blue. Setting fabric is a tiny dot print that gives the effect of a solid white background from a distance. Thin batting. Double line quilting in the Z blocks, and diamonds in the set up blocks. About 7-8 stitches per inch. Very good, clean condition. 61 x 68.  $250. Sale $175

    Q5164 Cakestand. More pictures. C1880-1900. Country quilt in early indigo blue and solid pink chambray. Interesting ziz-zag setting. Initialled on front and back in chainstitch embroidery. Quilted in straight lines in light and dark threads, at 5-6 spi. Very good, crisp condition. Considerable fading in one area. 64x74  $100 Sale $50

Quilted in cables, straight lines, and by the piece, at 6 -7 stitches per inch. Very thin batting. Unwashed, crisp. Minor spots. 72 x 82.  $295.  Sale $195

    Q5152. Wild Goose Chase. More pictures. C 1870. Signed in cross-stitch on back "P.T. Burcher." Beautiful madder prints set with quality off-white cotton. Early muslin back. Entirely hand pieced. Heavily quilted in straight at 6-7 stitches per inch. Separately applied binding. Excellent, unwashed condition. One half-inch tear in corner (probably from a tag) and several small spots. 87x105. $850 Sale $675.
