Q4733 Lemoyne Star. More pictures. C1920-30, PA. Colorful stars on medium-dark solid blue. Lots of cadet blue, red, yellow and double pink calicoes. Border is a coordinating print. Blue print back. Thin batting. Nicely quilted in diamonds and by the piece at 8-9 stitches per inch. Excellent, unwashed, crisp condition. 75 x 75. $425.
Q5155 Fox and Geese. More pictures. C1890-1910. Good country quilt with lots of red, blue, and black prints. Also, a white print with big polka dots. Light blue gingham back. Thin batting. Quilted in fans at 5 spi. Self-bound from back to front. Machine pieced. Crisp, unwashed condition. Light stains and fading. 64x82. $175. Reduced to $150

Q5164 Cakestand. More pictures. C1880-1900. Country quilt in early indigo blue and solid pink chambray. Interesting ziz-zag setting. Initialled on front and back in chainstitch embroidery.Quilted in straight lines in light and dark threads, at 5-6 spi. Very good, crisp condition. Q5113 Mosaic Hexagon. More pictures. C1900-1920. Graphic, well made scrap quilt with interesting fabrics, some from the 19th century. Quilted in diamonds, cables and straight lines, at 7-8 stitches per inch. Thin cotton batting. Back is pieced in three bars, all different prints. Crisp, unused condition with a few minor spots. 70x78. $325

Q5066 Rolling Stone. See full-size picture C1890-1910, ME. Graphic quilt with early prints and a great backgound print that really "pops." Tightly hand pieced. Thin batting; dyed mauvey-pink cotton back. Separately applied brown binding. Quilted in diagonal lines in a zigzag pattern over the whole quilt at 5 stitches per inch. Not the best quilting but certainly adequate to hold the quilt together. Quilt appears to be unwashed and is in excellent condition with a few light stains. 79x82 Close up. Shown on bed. Q5018 Pieced Sampler. More pictures. C1910-20. From the estate of Leroy Hackenberg, Mount Pleasant Mills (Snyder County), PA. Twenty-eight blocks, done in a red, white and blue color scheme. Sashing is a red and white floral stripe print. Muslin back, thin batting. Self-bound from back to front and neatly machine sewn. Quilted by the piece at 7 stitches per inch. Excellent, clean, unused condition. 59x87. $695
